BREAKWATER ROD CO. — RETURNS & WARRANTY

RETURNS (PRE-BUILT RODS ONLY)

We get it—sometimes you pick one up and it’s just not the right fit.

If your rod hasn’t touched the water, we’ll take it back.

Return window: 30 days from delivery
Condition:

  • Unused
  • No signs of wear
  • In original packaging

Once a rod has been fished, it’s no longer a return—it falls under warranty.

Return shipping: Customer is responsible unless the rod arrived damaged or defective.
Restocking fee: May apply if packaging is damaged or missing.

Custom Build Deposit & Cancellation Policy

All custom rod orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin the build process. This deposit secures your place in our build schedule and allows Breakwater Rod Co. to order the components and materials required for your custom build.

Because each custom rod is built to the customer’s selected specifications, the initial 50% deposit is non-refundable if the customer cancels the order after the deposit has been paid.

The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the rod and must be paid before the finished rod is shipped, delivered, or picked up.

WARRANTY

Every Breakwater rod is backed by a 1-year craftsmanship warranty.

If something fails because of how it was built, we make it right. No runaround.

Covers:

  • Guide failures
  • Epoxy or wrap defects
  • Structural issues due to workmanship

Does NOT cover:
